Pay: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour (based on experience)

Lead the Build on High-End Outdoor Projects

Outdoor Comfort Solutions is hiring a Lead Carpenter to oversee and participate in the construction of custom outdoor living projects. This role is ideal for an experienced carpenter who can lead on-site work, maintain quality standards, and keep projects on schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and assist with installation of outdoor structures (pergolas, patio covers, decks, screens, awnings)
  • Oversee daily jobsite operations and crew productivity
  • Interpret blueprints, layouts, and construction plans
  • Perform measurements, cuts, assembly, and installation
  • Monitor workmanship and correct issues proactively
  • Communicate progress and site conditions with project management
  • Support and guide less experienced team members
  • Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
  • Document updates using JobTread (as needed)

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of carpentry or construction experience
  • Experience leading a crew or acting as a jobsite lead
  • Knowledge of framing, finish carpentry, and general construction
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to complete a background check and drug screen after a conditional offer
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
